Shizuko Matsumoto
Studied under Ms. Antonietta Paolini in Perugia, Italy, in 1970, received a Montessori teacher's diploma for 3-6 year olds. 1973 Diploma in Montessori teaching for 0-3 years old in Rome, Italy. 1974 Diploma in Montessori teaching for 6-12 year olds in Bergamo, Italy. 1975 Preparing to become a Montessori teacher trainer (trainer) for 3-6 year olds under Ms. Estella Palmieri at the Montessori Center in Los Angeles, USA. In 1975, the Tokyo Montessori Teacher Training Center was opened in Yotsuya, Tokyo, and one year later it moved to the present-day Minami Ward, Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Currently, as the founder and honorary director of this center, he watches over the activities of his students.

AMI (International Montessori Association) Certified Level 3-6 Teacher Training Trainer/Consultant.
Graduated from the Department of English, Faculty of Foreign Studies, Sophia University. Since 2002, she has worked as an interpreter for Dr. Silvana Montanaro, an AMI trainer, at the AMI Yokohama 0-3 training course for three courses. 2003 Acquired AMI0-3 teacher qualification. In 2006, acquired AMI3-6 teacher certification under Shizuko Matsumoto.
After many years of practice in Montessori classes for 3-6 year olds at the Montessori School of Tokyo, since 2015 he has been studying under Dr. Annette Haynes in St. Louis, USA as an AMI Trainer Candidate. In 2019, acquired AMI3-6 trainer qualification. He is currently training teachers at our center. Worked as an AMI examiner in China, Vietnam and Korea.
